- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of skim milk powder
- 1/4 cup of wheat germ
- 1 tsp. of baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups of raisins
- 1/2 cup of unsalted sunflower seeds
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of molasses
- 1/3 cup of peanut butter
Combine the sugar, flour, milk powder, baking powder, and wheat germ in a bowl. Stir in the sunflower seeds and raisins. Next, mix the oil, molasses, eggs, and peanut butter. Add to the dry ingredients and blend well. Now spread in a greased cake pan (square and 9 inches is preferred). Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Let it cool and cut it up to serve. This can be stored in an air tight container for a couple days without going bad.
