Party Crab Special

  • 1 1/2 tbsp. of knox gelatin
  • 1/4 cup of cold water
  • 1 can of cream mushroom soup
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 7oz of crab meat
  • 1 cup of finely chopped celery
  • 1 tbsp. of worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 8oz of packaged cream cheese
  • Juice from 1 lemon

Soften the gelatin in cold water. Next, heat up the soup, worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, onion, and cream cheese in double boiler until cheese is melted. Add the salt. Stir until dissolved. Chill until it is partly set. Fold in crab meat and celery. Turn into half qt. mold and chill until they are firm. Serve with a side as you wish. Crackers are great.
