- 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp. of shortening
- 2 cups of shredded cooked chicken
- 1 can of taco sauce (8oz)
- Personal preference for salt
- 1 pckg. of taco shells
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
Start off by sauteing the onion in the shortening until it is transparent. Next, add the taco sauce, chicken, and salt to taste. Heat this up to a boiling. Now prepare the taco shells as per package instructions. Put 2 tbsp. of the chicken mixture and 1 tbsp. of grated cheese in each shell. You can serve with a variety of toppings including tomato, lettuce, sour cream, chili sauce, and all the rest of great goodies.
